Today I am sharing something super special! Back in March I was lucky enough to be a part of an amazing workshop in Vegas called The Experience. We set out to create an event for photographers that was way more than your average workshop, with an all star panel about getting published, four unique and fabulous tablescapes, a gourmet meal, and an amazing photoshoot in the desert! It really was an spectacular day!

The morning started with a fab panel discussion with Two Bright Lights, a wedding blogger panel of Every Last Detail, Fab You Bliss, Mountainside Bride, and myself, and a photographer panel with Kristen Weaver, Kristin La Voie Photography, and Justin DeMutiis.

As part of The Experience, four of us wedding bloggers, Lauren from Every Last Detail, Stephanie from Fab You Bliss, Christie from Mountainside Bride, and I, all had the opportunity to create a fun and unique tablescape for attendees to photograph (and then eat at!) For my design, I really wanted to go for something different. My whole theme was actually based off of a quote from Mother Theresa: ‘Love is the golden thread that ties us all together‘. I love this quote and think it is perfect inspiration for a wedding, so I went with a vintage sewing theme with a palette of blue, gold, and cream. I found old wooden spools and wrapped them in different colored yarn and lined my table. The menus were a fun DIY project as well (which I will hopefully be able to share in the coming weeks). I absolutely love the way the whole look came together! It’s romantic, with a touch of whimsy! What do you think?
