Steal Worthy Idea | Something Blue
June 4, 2012We all know the classic wedding phrase “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”. A little bit of blue tulle is a great way to add in blue, here are some of my favorites! I’m in love with the gorgeous tulle wrapping on this bouquet! Such a great way to add a hint of color without it overpowering (plus the tulle gives it such a romantic look!) An always fun idea is to add in a little bit of blue under your dress for a pretty pop of color when you move. And how lovely is this subtle tint of blue in this veil? Just the perfect touch to give your look some personality and whimsy!

Oh you got me going with this. Turquoise and hot pink (are any version of blue and red) are my "happy colors."

Some of my favourite pieces to make are 'old new borrowed blue' - it has to be one of the best traditional and heirloom parts of wedding folklore.
I just love the beautiful butterflies in the veil here - wow - what a fantastic 'blue' touch - love.
