DIY to Try | Etched Glass Table Numbers

It is really surprising how easy it is to etch glass. I etched some glass mugs for my Christmas presents this year and thought it would be a great method to use for some table numbers! All you need are some pieces of glass (if you go to a glass shop, they will cut and smooth the edges for you), glass etching paste (found at any craft store), and vinyl numbers. I found that Michael’s has a small section with glass etching tools, including several pre-made vinyl numbers and letters. If you have a fancy cutting tool like a Silhouette or Cricket, you can create your own design and cut pieces of vinyl (or be super skilled and hand cut your own). I actually used the inverse from vinyl letters for mailboxes I found at a hardware store. Then just follow the steps on the glass etching paste, and you are just a few minutes away from modern, chic table numbers!

This idea is really interesting and it definitely sounds fun. I'm going to try and find the time to do this at home one of the next weekends. It is both stylish and elegant and I love it. I’m excited to try this so thank you for sharing. It's much appreciated.

    Thanks
