A Vintage Garden Wedding

Today I’ve got a fun garden wedding with sweet vintage details. I just love the bright centerpieces with the retro floral table cloths, so perfect for a summer wedding! And this couple is just too adorable! The bride has the best smile!

The beautiful bride Cacie shares:

Our inspiration was the 1940’s. I’m in love with the era and I went for a vintage yet modern vibe for the wedding. We wanted a simple, classy, and intimate feel. Something along the lines of a relaxed, yet sophisticated summer garden party.

I loved all the design elements! You want me to pick a favorite? I loved my tear drop hat and birdcage veil. My bright blue shoes. The vintage postcard guest book. The vintage table clothes. The little jam favors. I can’t pick a favorite! I just can’t.

Instead of a traditional guest book, I collected roughly fifty unused vintage postcards and had people write a message on them. I even had a mailbox that they could put them in. For the centerpieces we used my mother’s old vases, and then used vintage table cloths under those. It really brought the whole 40’s vibe into focus. For the favors we got these little jam jars and then I tied blue bows and glued thank you tin pieces on top. They were so cute and seriously delicious! We also played 40’s music in the background. It really helped to set the scene.
