A Purple Spring Winery Wedding

Today I’m sharing a lovely California winery wedding! If the amazing scenery, the gorgeous florals, or the sweet place settings don’t make you fall in love with this one, the bride will! Her smile is so infectious that is impossible not to feel the joy just emanating from these images!

The stunning bride Lindsay shares:

We both earned our degrees from Cal Poly and LOVE the Central Coast, and, since our families live in SoCal, but we (and lots of our friends) live in the Bay Area, we thought it would be perfect to meet in the middle! One of our favorite activities during college was going wine tasting, which naturally led into getting married at a winery.

We chose Eagle Castle because we liked how unique and interesting it is, and because they allow parties to continue until midnight, whereas others we looked at said everything needed to end by ten. Religion is really important to us, so we wanted the ceremony to have a solemn feel to it. But, we also wanted to have a TON of fun at the reception. Most of our planning involved trying to balance those two. We used music and decorations to convey the change to our guests, and I think it worked out well.

My favorite moment of the day happened when I was dancing with my dad- he realized I made the slideshow that was playing, and we watched it for the rest of the dance. Ryan’s favorite was getting to see all of the people we love in one place.
