Real Wedding: Erin and Maclean
June 22, 2011Warning: today’s wedding is pretty much amazing! When a couple of awesome wedding film makers come together to get married, you know it is going to be killer! Erin and Maclean are the duo behind Hello Tomorrow, and their creative minds, along with their love for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, created one spectacular wedding. I’m quite sure the bouquet is one of my all time favorites!
Maclean shares some details:
We really wanted to make sure everyone had fun. We’ve filmed enough weddings to know what we like and don’t like so we decided to forego tradition and do some things our own way.
With the help of my cousin Melynn we made customized wedding programs that were very untraditional. Also to add some special flare we made a video to introduce the bridal party at the reception.
We also had a cookie bar and our favours were mini jars of custom M&M’s with our names and wedding date printed on them. Another DIY project we did was our invitations. We send out a DVD with an invitation video. (to check out the invitation, click here)

This is a beautiful wedding! I love the buttons on the dress, all of the detailing, the monotone color palate--such a refreshing take on the now wildly popular whimsical weddings!

Love the custom wedding programs. I have never seen anything near as cool! And the video was really well done as well. It almost has an indy film feel probably just because of the cool depth of field, interesting angles and great composition. Very well done. My wedding paled in comparison :(
